Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you place an order, create a customer account, contact us, arrange a return, or otherwise deal with us. This can include your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, order history, messages and payment-related details. Payment card details are processed by our commerce and payment providers and are not stored in this website’s source code.
Why we collect it
We use personal information to process and deliver orders, provide customer support, manage returns, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations and improve our service. We collect only what is reasonably necessary for these purposes.
Service providers
Our website and checkout may use Snipcart, payment processors, Cloudflare, Amazon Simple Email Service, shipping providers and other suppliers needed to operate the store. These providers process information under their own privacy terms and may store it outside New Zealand.
Contact forms and security
Form submissions are processed through Cloudflare Workers and delivered using Amazon SES. Our forms use a hidden anti-spam field and may use Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile’s public site key can appear in the website; its secret key remains server-side.
Website analytics
We use Plausible Analytics for privacy-friendly, aggregate measurement. It records page visits and aggregated events including outbound link clicks, file download clicks, form submissions and visits to missing (404) pages. We do not use this information to build individual advertising profiles.
Keeping information safe
We use access controls, encrypted services and reputable providers to protect personal information. We retain it only for as long as needed for the purpose collected, including tax, accounting, customer service and legal requirements.
